New Collaboration with fiveD: Advancing Radar Imaging in EmpkinS
We are excited to start our collaboration with fiveD to further enhance the potential of radar technology within EmpkinS. fiveD, a startup based in Erlangen and founded in 2024, emerged from former PhD candidates and scientific personnel of FAU’s Institute of Microwaves and Photonics (LHFT) and the Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab (MaD Lab). Using fiveD’s hyper-realistic radar simulation, researchers in EmpkinS can develop advanced radar systems, optimize imaging algorithms, and explore the full potential of radar AI. With unmatched precision in simulating human movements and a unique level of detail, this collaboration pushes the boundaries of non-invasive human motion and behavior analysis.
