Miri Kurz at Deakin University in Melbourne
In October 2024, EmpkinS doctoral candidate Miri Kurz had the opportunity to spend three weeks at the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. During her stay, Miri benefited from the expertise of Dr. Anne Turner, a stress physiologist whose research focuses on the effects of prolonged exposure to stress on psychological and physiological health, as well as interventions to mitigate this damage.
