EmpkinS Status Update and RDM Workshop
On October 10, 2024, EmpkinS members from Erlangen, Bonn, Munich and Hamburg met for an exciting interdisciplinary day at MaD Lab. The day started with an important discussion about mental health during the doctoral thesis, how to deal with it and where to find help. This was followed by a workshop on research data management including a hands-on session on study registry. In addition, the doctoral candidates presented a series of short talks about the current state of their projects. This time, the presentations also focused on prevailing problems and challenges the PhDs faced during study conduction and data processing, and possible solutions for these problems. During the breaks we were able to enjoy a delicious lunch, have insightful discussions about future collaborations and simply talk and laugh together in person.
